ABOUT ME
Dustin Knowles

In east North Carolina, born and raised. Behind a camera is where I spent most of my days. Chilling out maxing, relaxing all cool; learning how to shoot people in film school... that's enough fresh prince (I was born in 1996, the year Fresh Prince of Bel-Air ended.) I grew up in the small town of Beulaville. If you haven't heard of it, just google it.

You would think that, growing up in Southeast NC that I would have grown up religious but I actually found God on my own. My parents only took me to church maybe ten random times (I even grew up on a road with three churches on it in the span of about 3 miles.) It wasn't until 2010, after witnessing the death of my mom, did I look for God. Even so it took another four years before I would truly go after Him and receive the healing I needed.

Since 2010 I have been into filmmaking. I started shooting on my phone and editing with Window's movie maker. An Art Institute recruiter came to my school and upon seeing their presentation, I knew I wanted to go and actually get some education behind my passion. I started teaching myself After Effects in preparation for college so I lean towards motion graphics and visual effects at times, but I have grown to love most aspects of the filmmaking process.
